Clinical Operations and Project Management
Dr. Fellmann has directed research, project management and clinical operations in the health care industry for more than 15 years. He was Director of Research and Preclinical Development in the field of in-vivo diagnostic imaging and was Director of Project Management for a biotech and a mid-sized pharma company. More recently he has led drug and device development activities as the Vice President, Clinical Operations and Project Management for companies in the biotech and medical device industries. In these capacities he has led development projects in the following therapeutic fields: analgesia, neuro-protection following ischemic events, hypertension, dyslipidemia, uremic pruritus and dentin and bone repair. He has managed several IND submissions; two NDA filings that have resulted in two approved products; and was also responsible for the management of a FDA advisory panel review. He has authored or co-authored more than 75 publications and patents. Dr. Fellmann earned a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley and a Ph.D. in Inorganic/Organometallic Chemistry focusing on catalyst development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
